"I used to use a regular wireless keyboard and mouse on my HTPC which was a pain. I really didn't want to pay well over $100 for the Logitech or Gyration solutions. Finally someone came out with an affordable solution for the HTPC! It works great with Windows 7, just plug and play. Very responsive. My only complaint is that the trackball sticks a little sometimes and it feels a little cheap. With that said, you can't beat this thing for the price. I got it 15% off of $60, but I would consider paying $60 since it still much cheaper than the alternatives."

It is important to have a good 2.4Ghz wireless connection so that you are able to use the keyboard from the 10-foot distance. ione scorpius P20MT keyboard has an excellent range as long as the USB dongle is not hidden too far behind the TV cabinet. Some users report that the range has not been satisfactory at first, but then after attaching the USB dongle with a USB extension and place it around TV the reception has become much better. Given the selection of alternatives out there, Scorpius P20MT keyboard has probably the best feature-price ratio for a HTPC keyboard one can get. In fact, it is extremely difficult to find this product from department stores, so it is better to be ordered from ErgoGeek.com"
