Returns (RMA)

Requesting a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

  • All requests for product returns must be made within 30 days from the date of invoice.
  • Please provide the following information when requesting an Return Authorization (RMA): Customer name, order number and reason for return.

  • Products returned without a RMA # or returned freight collect will be not be accepted, and will be returned to customer at customer's expense.

Returning Your Product

  • RMA's are valid for 14 days (from issue date). Returns received after the 14 day period may be refused and returned to customer at customer's expense.
  • Unless instructed otherwise in the Return Authorization (RMA) you receive, all returns must be shipped prepaid to: ErgoGeek.com, Attn: Returns Department. Failure to return a product within the applicable return period will be deemed to be an acceptance of the product. The RMA number must appear on the shipping label or outside of the shipping carton.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping charges for all products being shipped for return, exchange, repair or replacement. Products repaired or replaced under warranty will be returned to Customer at ErgoGeek's expense, using the shipping method selected by ErgoGeek or by the product manufacturer.
  • Please return all products 100% complete including all original manufacturer boxes with the packing materials, all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and any other documentation included with the original shipment. RMA approval is contingent upon, among other things, the products being 100% complete.
  • All returned products must be properly packed in a suitable shipping carton. Using the product packaging as a shipping carton will result in no refund being issued for your return. Such products will be returned, if requested by customer within 30 days of our receipt, to customer at customer's expense.
  • Customer is responsible for all risk of loss and damage to products being shipped for return, exchange, repair or replacement. Please fully insure your return shipment to cover you in the event of loss or damage. Always use a carrier that is able to provide you with proof of delivery such as UPS, FeDex or USPS. This is for your protection as ErgoGeek is not responsible for returned products that are lost or damaged in transit.

Restocking Fees

  • Products eligible to be returned for a refund or exchange will be credited based on their condition upon receipt of your return. Beyond the product's eligible refund amount, a restocking fee will be applied against the original purchase price of product if it is returned in a less than new condition. Shipping fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Less Than New Same as "New" condition, but may have minor damage to product packaging (as determined by seller). This is usually the result of hastily unpacking the new product, or of inadequate or improper packaging of the returned product shipment. 20%
Incomplete Returned product has missing or unusable product documents; i.e., manuals, warranty cards, orginal packaging etc.

Damaged Product contents, accessories or packaging materials are missing or damaged (as determined by seller). This includes, but is not limited to, signs of installation, misuse, physical damage to the product, or using the product packaging as a shipping carton. Returned products damaged in transit are the customer's responsibility. You must pack your returns properly and insure your return shipments! No Refund Will Be Issued

Payment Refund

  • Refunds will be made by the same method of payment used by the buyer; i.e., credit card purchases will refunded against the original credit card used to make the purchase, payments by check will be refunded by check, etc. Eligible refunds for returned products will be issued within 10 days of our receipt of your return. Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • If your purchase was made through Amazon.com, please allow additional time for credit card refunds. Amazon.com processes all credit card purchases and refund transactions for items purchased on the Amazon.com website. We do not receive or have access to customer's credit card information for Amazon.com purchases.

Products Damaged or Lost In Transit

  • Shipments from ErgoGeek.com

    ErgoGeek insures all shipments made to our customers. In the event you receive a product in damaged condition, you must do the following:
    • Keep the original shipping carton with shipping label, all packaging materials, and damaged merchandise together for later inspection by the delivering carrier.
    • Notify ErgoGeek customer service of such damage within (3) business days of receipt of the damaged product at:

    ErgoGeek will arrange to have the damaged products and packaging picked up by the delivering carrier and a replacement product to be sent to customer.

     
  • Returns to ErgoGeek.com.

    Customer is responsible for all shipping costs and damages to products while in transit to ErgoGeek return locations. In the event a product you return to us has been lost or damaged during shipment, you must contact the carrier you used to make a claim for such loss or damages. It is important that you insure your return shipments for the full value of the products. ErgoGeek is not responsible for such losses or damages, and will not replace or reimburse customer for such.

Warranties

  • Customer understands that Seller is not the manufacturer of the Products purchased by Customer hereunder and the only warranties offered are those of the manufacturer, not Seller or its Affiliates. In purchasing the Products, Customer is relying on the manufacturer’s specifications only and is not relying on any statements, specifications, photographs or other illustrations representing the Products that may be provided by Seller or its Affiliates. SELLER AND ITS AFFILIATES HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, RELATED TO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTY OF TITLE, ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF NONINFRINGEMENT, OR ANY WARRANTY RELATING TO THIRD PARTY SERVICES. THE DISCLAIMER CONTAINED IN THIS PARAGRAPH DOES NOT AFFECT THE TERMS OF ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY. Customer expressly waives any claim that it may have against Seller or its Affiliates based on any product liability or infringement or alleged infringement of any patent, copyright, trade secret or other intellectual property rights (each a “Claim”) with respect to any Product and also waives any right to indemnification from Seller or its Affiliates against any such Claim made against Customer by a third party. Customer acknowledges that no employee of Seller or its Affiliates is authorized to make any representation or warranty on behalf of Seller or any of its Affiliates.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice, except that the Terms and Conditions posted on the Site at the time Customer places an order will govern the order in question, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Seller and Customer.
